Okay, weekly report.

I worked on parts of a bunch of sex scenes; still not back up to what I'd consider a reasonable output, but I wrote partial chunks of a few sex scenes -- Pthuul's first bottom scene, Djen cockfucking, some other smaller chunks for other scenes, mostly little interstitial parts between choices. I also did a big chunk of progression outlining for ~hell game 2.0~ (it's not actually gonna be called that), but that obviously will need a lot more work before it's ready. It's definitely gonna have a lot more exposition, though. And, you know, plot.

I did some misc. sex scene writing, bits and bobs of sex scene intros or various intermediate sections, etc. Less focused than before but it's getting me writing again, so, progress.

Weekly status report: didn't do much at all. Oh well it happens some times. Probably I'm gonna ease back on, uh, being really invested in finishing stuff since when I give myself deadlines i tend to choke and then self-sabotage. Anyway we'll see what next week is like.

todo list/progress

This week I didn't actually do that much work, unfortunately. Started working on sex scenes, and got one done and bits of some others. I definitely got to get back on track in terms of progress. The actual writing hasn't been tough to do, I've just been getting distracted with other stuff lately. Oh well gonna keep trying to focus on it better.

Also I haven't been posting about any of the hell game work I've been doing, but, I've been doing a little more outlining and concept stuff, and it's getting to the point where I feel like I have a reasonable chunk of content planned. Obviously the actual writing of that is an entirely different beast, but I'm definitely feeling better about it conceptually.

So I didn't make an update last week just because uhhh, todo list. But probably I should write a synopsis regardless of the existence of the todo list. I didn't actually do an enormous amount of work this week; was kinda occupied dealing with some rl stuff. But now I'm getting back to pomodoroing on the twine game for a few hours every day, so, getting to check more stuff off the list. Still have yet to really dig into the sex scenes; there's a lot of narrative scenes or minor connective stuff to finish off. But it's coming along.

This week... I mean, see the todo list. Mostly just a few smaller things crossed off, because I'm in the middle of writing one big long sex scene. Probably these weekly status posts are gonna be very short for a while, since uh you can all see the items on the list slowly get crossed off.

Okay status post for this week... well, you can see progress on the big todo list. Really from this point forward you're probably better off just checking that post, since I cross things off on there as I finish them. So far it's mostly been smaller interstitial bits, since I feel like those are the things most likely to fall through the cracks if I leave them for later.

Last week's status update ended up being patreon-only, so, quick recap for everybody else: I outlined a bunch of late-game content and then realized "wow actually that's an incredibly large amount of writing to do if I want to finish this in any kind of timely manner" and thought for a bit about how I wanted to handle that. There was a subscriber-only poll, which was a nearly-even tie between "finish the first half and release that" and "actually don't care about deadlines" (I'm paraphrasing).

And so to that end I wrote up a big list of every chunk of prose that needs to get written before the first half of the game is done. So I'll be picking away at that, hopefully at a rate of ~seven per week so that the first half is entirely done near the end of the year. We'll see, but that's the goal at least.

Whoops sorry for the particularly late status post this week. Uhhh let's see this week I didn't actually itemize my progress very well, so the actual list is just:

• Outlined and coded up branches for the initial chain/tanker camping sequence with Pthuul, Khru, and Yraal

which is a little underwhelming. What I also did was do a bunch of outlining for the mid-to-late game, since I was getting a little burnt out on all the early-game sex scenes I've been writing. So this includes a rearranged city map, more city sidestory sections, various encounter paths for late-game tfs and just what all they're going to entail (I'm still considering centaur/naga bodies, but, we'll see how that goes given the amount of work that would take), outlining how the endgame is gonna work, that kind of stuff. It's all still pretty inchoate though, and it's mostly in my notes document rather than coded up as proper scenes; that's for this week. I'm hoping to get the midgame in better shape codewise, since right now it's still mostly a bunch of fragmented summaries vs. how the early game is nearly entirely coded up.

I am not going to lie, I didn't get a whole lot done this week because I recently bought a converter so that I could actually use my old PS2 for the first time in uhhhh around a decade, so this week I've been perhaps spending a little more time than is wise replaying Dark Cloud 2.

Also I did some system upgrade stuff, which broke a bunch of my existing code projects so I spent a while fixing all that up. tbh I'm considering making some kind of provisional hell game update just so the difference between my dev machine and production doen't get even huger, but, uh, that's not gonna be happening right this moment regardless.

Anyway this week:

• Wrote the Djen camp fuck scene (cock tf version) (~1000 words)
• Coded the markup for ghiest dick / knotted dick in the munitions/rook threesome scene + wrote the missing scene chunks there
• A bunch of data / notes restructuring so that i can actually track what i've been working on better
• Wrote intro to city pitstop drone bj scene (~300 words)
