Okay weekly status post. I am going to be honest, I got almost nothing done this week. I kinda got sucked into the map generation swamp, where I messed around with some stuff for a while but in the end didn't really come up with anything I liked all that much. So that was a bust.
Definitely going to be moving back to working on updating PC descriptions, since that's something I have a big chart of what needs to be worked on and in what ways, vs. the extremely open-ended work of "idk, mess with the map generation until it looks better". I'll probably make and link a todo list for body node plans tomorrow, since I want to get back on track after what feels like a wasted week.

hey, sometimes there are really productive weeks and sometimes there are weeks where almost nothing at all gets done. ideally more the former than the latter, but, that's just how it goes sometimes.
that being said i'm gonna be working on more concrete stuff for a while precisely because i also didn't like this so much either :p
I'll waiting body hair system (i will hope that won't be like in CoC or TiTs. Where you are either covered with wool or fur, or you have skin or scales)
the plan -- at least for the initial release; i might expand it later -- is for there to be a 'body hair' layer that depends on the base skin type. so skin would have hair, scales would have quills, etc. some base skin types wouldn't have a body hair layer: fur could be given coloration, but wouldn't have a body hair layer also.
if it gets expanded, probably i'd have the body hair type depend on things beyond just base material -- so if you have [CRYSTAL] on your body, your 'hair' might be rocky spars, that kind of thing. maybe also have options for thickness or location of body hair, but i don't know how fine-grained i'd want to make it overall.
XAX . It is better to do this with individual elements>.>. The same example with scales and feathers, that would be possible to change the type of hair on the body, regardless of the settings of the body itself, like other parts of the body in your character creation system.
As a result, you can make a hairy anthro dragon.>> And not a feathered
