This week: still working on the nightmare encounter. In the effort of getting the next update done by next week, I'm thinking of only finishing the nightmare encounter and either forgetting about or pushing back the working demon sex scene for the next update.
I've also been doing some general brainstorming for... more interactivity with the various npcs. Step one of that might be making a few sets of standardized body options that can apply to all npcs, like piercings or dick size options. I've been wanting to avoid making NPCs fully mutable (with fat/muscle levels and size and species variations and dick size controls, etc) and keeping them limited to a smaller but more specific set of monster type-specific variations. There's technically nothing stopping me from making all NPCs have a body made out of node parts just like the PC, it's just that lots of the NPCs have very unique descriptions that would be lost if I forced them all to generate using the same description generator as the PC. But they could probably stand to have some standarization, so there could be some transformation stuff you could do with every NPC.
Now that the game engine is nearly entirely finished, I've been thinking a lot more on how to actually use it to create, you know, game events, and how those should work, and how the random npcs should fit into that. Previously I had been wanting to get stuff reasonably finished before putting it in game, to avoid any "come back later to see the rest of this!" situations, but now I've been thinking that, ultimately, it's an in-progress game and there's no way around there being some in-progress mess. So I've been thinking of putting in the foundation for party members (which would let you have a single NPC with you), and NPC transformations, and random quests/questgivers, even if it'll be a while before those systems are particularly fully-fledged. Basically stuff to give a little bit of mechanical engagement in the game.
So the plan for next week: have the nightmare encounter done and have the next update ready. This'll include, along with the nightmare scene, a short and small cave-dungeon, some respawning plant/mineral resources, and some shops to use those resources to make body nodes. Plus some other stuff, depending on what else I finish.
Have you fixed the bug that makes npcs crowd around one square large corridors? There's a lot of places inacessible because of this bug and I can't never access the Void Snakes.

Yeah, that's fixed. I changed the spacing for the map sections that have one-wide pathways, so you should be able to reach all the encounters there come next update.

Pleased to hear that. I'm also having the same trouble as Lashcharge, save that mine can't access the crystal dragons from the older patches.
